Digital Literacy Curriculum

Overview: 

To help students understand how to use various types of technology responsibly and with an eye toward making tasks easier.

Core Traits: 

1. Know how to operate a computer, tablet, or smartphone and use programs like word processing, messaging, and browser windows.

2. Know how to properly use and legally share documents, pictures, and programs; understand what, how, and when to use sensitive, confidential, or private information.

3. Use online tools to find information, answer questions, solve a problem, and consider whether a source is accurate.

4. Know what technology tools help people work together in person and online.
