Resilience Curriculum
Overview:
To help students understand what it means to be resilient: to speak up for themselves, to predict problems they may face in reaching their goals, to learn from setbacks, and to accept advice in order to grow in their personal and professional lives.
Core Traits:
Sets priorities and goals. Sees possible outcomes to actions and creates backup plans.
Bounces back when things go wrong by figuring out what happened and how to learn from it.
Takes feedback and deals directly with conflict in a positive way; is able to listen to others and speak up for themselves.
Knows that personal growth and skill development is an essential part of life.
